Some entries already have the width — they just need a different configuration to make better use of it.
This project started with a single front door and sidelights. The opening itself already had good proportions, so instead of rebuilding the whole entry, we focused on changing the layout and visual impact of the entry.
We replaced the original setup with an 8-foot double steel door with wrought iron glass, finished in factory white. For homeowners looking for a taller double door without going fully custom right away, this type of configuration is often a very good budget-friendly starting point.
- Executive panels for a more upscale appearance
- Painted finishes instead of factory white
- Different glass options, including stained glass or more private frosted styles
The wrought iron glass on this project gives the entry a more decorative, traditional character while still bringing natural light into the space.
The result is a taller, more substantial front entrance that makes better use of the existing opening without overcomplicating the design.
