Standard Return & Cancellation Policy
1. Custom Manufacturing (Final Sale)
Because our products are custom-made to your specific dimensions, style, and material requirements, all orders are considered Final Sale.
- No Returns: We do not accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind" or buyer's remorse once a custom order has been delivered.
- No Cancellations: Once the Final Design Approval is signed and the order enters the production queue, the order cannot be cancelled, and deposits become non-refundable.
2. Accuracy of Specifications
The client is responsible for the accuracy of all measurements and specifications provided.
- We highly recommend professional measurement before placing an order.
- Window Man is not liable for fitment issues resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the client or their agents.
3. Shipping & Damage in Transit
We take immense pride in our crating process to ensure your door arrives safely.
- Inspection Required: Upon delivery, you must inspect the crate for visible damage before signing the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL).
- Documenting Damage: If damage is found, it must be noted clearly on the BOL. Failure to note damage at the time of delivery may void your ability to file an insurance claim with the freight company.
- Reporting: Any internal damage, also known as concealed damage, must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery with high-resolution photographs.
4. Defective or Non-Conforming Goods
If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect or does not match the signed specifications:
- We will, at our discretion, repair or replace the affected component.
- Claims for defects must be made within [e.g., 7 days] of receipt and prior to any installation or modification, including hanging, trimming, painting, or staining.
- Installation constitutes acceptance of the product.
5. Delivery Timelines (Ontario CPA Compliance)
We provide estimated completion dates in good faith.
- Per the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, if we fail to deliver the product within 30 days of the stated delivery date on your contract, you have the right to cancel the agreement for a full refund.
- This right is waived if you choose to accept the delivery after the 30-day window has passed.
