Most of our jobs are around the Greater Toronto Area, but we’ve helped a few customers from out of province. In those cases, their friends were moving or driving trucks and helped pick the doors up here.
This one came from a homeowner in Edmonton who couldn’t find the right door locally. We worked out the specs over email and phone, chose a model that matched the look of the house, and made sure it would fit the opening. The only challenge was getting it across the country.
This time, we found a couple of truck drivers willing to take a private load to Alberta. We crated and wrapped the door properly and coordinated pickup. The freight cost stayed reasonable because it went with other deliveries.
Since we weren’t doing the install ourselves, we helped the homeowner and their installer figure out how to measure correctly. We also sent layout sketches and a few photos from past installs to guide them through.
Looking to order from out of province? If you’ve found a door you love, we’re happy to help — and can guide your installer through the measurements and arrange freight or pickup. Just send us photos of your current setup, and we’ll take it from there.
